Launching The Caribbean's Longetst Private Jetstrip
To celebrate the launch of a client’s private 5,700-foot jet strip (the longest in the Caribbean), Formo began the campaign
by creating an emblem for the airport itself. Inspired by the original wings worn by Frontier Airline pilots from the 1950s and ‘60s, Formo created a set of sleek and elegant wings, embossed and foil stamped on the cover of the launch event invitation. (A limited set of wings was also cast in metal to mimic authentic pilot’s wing pins for prominent members of Turks & Caicos Sporting Club.)
The launch invitation unfolded vertically to reveal a scaled version of the Ambergris Cay Jet Strip (MBAC), with the length and dimension designed to highlight the magnitude and scale of this incredibly eco-engineered private jet strip. A complex print piece, the invitation needed to express quality, refinement and luxury. Other elements from this campaign included rich media and video ads exclusively placed on The Wall Street Journal’s wsj.com and an email campaign.
